My name is Giuseppe Merletti, I'm a composer and multi-instrumentalist based in Italy.

Since I can remember I was fascinated to movies and games. In my young age I passed countless nights over them. The Imagination to create worlds and stories always captivated me.

Later at age of 12 I discovered music and started to play the guitar, again, the fact that you can create storytelling with sounds thru improvisation and composition intrigued me to pursue this art. 
This road lead me to take a bachelor in jazz guitar an orchestration followed by course in film scoring with Giovanni Bacalov first and after with a mentorship program “Momentum” when I had the opportunity to show my music and develop my skills with top composers such as: Christopher Young, Javier Navarrete, Dirk Elhert, Brooks Ball, Marc Jovani, Steve Collom, Peter Baert and Lennie Moore.

During my studies I took part in various projects: shorts, films, commercials, theater play, albums as a composer and musician. The curiosity is what droves me.

Contamination with other arts, sharing, experimentation, to create a story and a world of sounds is the meaning of what I love and I'm grateful for that.
